Build up of an 8.8 axle.  8.8 axle that has gone through the first few stages of being stripped, cleaned and has had the tubes checked for straightness and then the tubes are welded to the center section to prevent the center section from turning on the tubes.

Close up of the left axle tube after welding and before welding the anti roll bar brackets on.

After the axle has been painted, tube ends have been cut for the c clip eliminators, anti roll bar bracket welded on, South Side lower arm brackets have been welded on and the axle is installed in the car to make sure the suspension is able to move throughout its full range without binding.

The build up is complete except for setting the pinion angle, installing the anti roll bar end links and adjusting the anti roll bar.
